About us

We are a two generational family of hospitality devotees. The Coastal Kitchen Family is built on the foundations of Karen and Dave who left their careers behind to build the first bricks of what is now an empire (mini!). From the early days to now, with next generation Steve, Bill and Lucy at the helm, we have always enjoyed offering excellent food and drink in a relaxed atmosphere.

The family has grown, and grown a bit more and now we are 5 venues and 147 staff strong, spanning the length of the Portsmouth coastline from Southsea to Old Portsmouth. Our venues are all as unique as the teams that run them and we are proud of our diverse, happy, thriving teams who are at the heart of everything we do.

Whether it’s a juicy red, the freshest oysters, or an indecently large slab of cake that gets you going – we have something for you and will welcome you into our family with open arms. We look forward to meeting you.

Current vacancies

Role: Front of House Team Member, flexible hours available – must be available to work weekends

Hourly Pay: £6.83 – £9.50 per hour (Over 18s only)+ plus tips

Opening hours: 8am – 4pm with some evening event work

Role: Restaurant General Manager – 45 hours a week
Comprising of 5 x 9 hour or split shifts

Salary: £35,000

Our Opening Hours: 9am – 11pm, 7 days a week

Role: Chef de Partie – 45 hours a week
Comprising of 5 x 9 hour or split shifts

Salary: £28,000

Our Opening Hours: Lunch and Dinner
